There’s been a bit of a hiatus for us in the “Playlist” area, and we are totally sorry for the blunder.
But we’re back. And this time around, we’re recapping on some of the summer tunes we’ve failed to spotlight and some of the more recent tunes from acts like Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, Elvis Costello, Earth, Wind & Fire and Arcade Fire that we’re currently spinning. 17 tracks in all, baby!
Swedish DJ spinster Avicii wins the top spot on the list with “Wake Me Up.” Give him major props just for simply merging Mumford & Sons greatness with dancefloor magic. We didn’t see that coming. The late Donna Summer also lands on the list for Chromeo’s stunning remix of “Love Is In Control (Finger on the Trigger).”
