March ’13 playlist celebrates new music by David Bowie, Jamie Lidell, Topher Mohr, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, the Strokes, Boz Scaggs, They Might Be Giants and Eric Clapton
March Madness is here. And that means there’s an overabundance of new albums ready to hit the music shelves.
This month’s PLAYLIST at HIFI features exciting new music from David Bowie, Jamie Lidell and Justin Timberlake. There’s more rock from Bon Jovi, the Strokes, Eric Clapton and They Might Be Giants. UK newcomer Emeli Sande is also making her way across the Atlantic waters. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also back with new music. And then there’s Mariah Carey with a stirring theme song for Oz the Great. Megan Hilty (from the NBC show ‘Smash‘) and former Mayer Hawthorne guitarist Topher Mohr are also releasing new solo albums this month.

As always, the list is quite eclectic – country, r&b/soul, dance, indie, alt-rock, pop, electronica and everything else in between. Variety is the spice of life.
