Coachella announces 2011 line-up: Kings of Leon, Kanye West, Robyn, Arcade Fire, the Black Keys, Cee Lo Green and Erykah Badu are just some of the heavyweights to appear

After weeks of insane speculation, Coachella has finally revealed their line-up for 2011. And it’s a very impressive one at that.

The 13th Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is set for April 15-17 at the Empire Polo Clubin Indio, Cali. and will feature an expanded commitment to art, culture and community through a unique partnership with The Creators Project. The line-up, containing festival hot acts and buzz acts in 2010, will include heavy hitters like Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Robyn and Arcade Fire (seen above). The Black Keys, a favorite from 2011 with a critically-acclaimed record on their hands (Brothers), will also headline this year’s Coachella.

Hot R&B and hip-hop acts have also been announced, including Cee Lo Green, Erykah Badu, Raphael Saadiq, Wiz Khalifa, Nas & Daiman Marley and Ms. Lauryn Hill. Lately, the bad press circulating Hill’s inexcusable tardiness, lukewarm stage performances and loud song arrangements may create a cloud of tension for those with high expectations, but festival organizers still believe Hill will draw thousands to its Friday attendance.

Cage the Elephant, now celebrating their recent album release Thank You Happy Birthday, will also be performing, along with a handful of trusted names who rounded up SPIN Magazine and Rolling Stone “best-of 2010” lists such as Mumford & Sons, the National and Sleigh Bells.

With a new disc produced by Mark Ronson, ’80’s New Wave legends Duran Duran is back in the news and will also be performing at the festival on Sunday.

The official flyer for Coachella 2011 has been posted below, for your viewing pleasure. May be a good idea to download it, save it and print it. You’ll need if you’re going.
