The Glasgow indie rock band Franz Ferdinand, who broke out with the 2004 iconic hit “Take Me Out,” is returning to the musical fray with their first album in four years. The band has echoed that the album will be splattered with guest stares, but have been a bit tight lipped so far about who they are. A sneak preview of the songs were delivered at some of their live performances in the UK, while a teaser trailer showed off a few seconds of “Right Action,” which resembles a faux-punk disco ditty. We’re very optimistic with this one, and are anxious to see the double-vinyl LP, which features a live session recorded at Konk Studios in London.
