Katy Perry Hits the Road for “California Gurls” Tour
Katy Perry is taking her candy-coated pop on a worldwide tour. Her “California Dreams” tour was announced back in October but U.S. dates have finally been revealed. 40 dates in North America have been added. Arenas are expected to smell like cotton candy as Perry approved the idea of inserting “smell-o-vision” scent pumps into the venues. She’s got the hits to fill a veune (“I Kissed a Girl,” “Waking Up in Vegas,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework”), but she’s not going alone. Robyn and Marina & the Diamonds will be opening for her. The tour opens in Atlanta. Georgia on June 7 and will conclude on August 14 in California, of course. For full details on tour locations and ticket information, go to www.katyperry.com.
Nicki Minaj’s New Video Premieres
Darling Nicki dresses up as a Cinderella-inspired princess in the fantasy-driven music video for “Moment 4 Life.” Drake also joins in with a super cameo and dresses up as Prince Charming. The eight-minute concept video has been getting positive responses – even if it’s just a fairy tale wedding between Weezy’s star children.

Diddy Hit With $1 Trillion Lawsuit, Blamed for 9/11
Another money-hungry victim is anxious to take Diddy to court and she’s asking for $1 trullion dollars in damages. Valerie Joyce Wilson Turks is alleging the rap star/fashion mogul caused 9/11 along with ex-girlfriend Kim Porter and LAPD brutality victim Rodney King. Turks also claims, according to court papers, that she once dated Diddy and had a son together, Cornelius Wilson (23). And this is where it gets real crazy: Turks also stated that “I won a lot of money at the casino in Mississippi and Sean P. Diddy Combs has my chip to my money.” She adds: “I heard he gave it to Gwen Allen to hold but she can not cash it in. I want my chip please help me. it’s well worth over 100 zillions of dollars, and my hospital keys. They put me and my baby in the hospital and broke my baby 2 legs and sexual assaulted my children and crushed us.”
Super Bowl Set to Feature Black Eyed Peas, Lea Michele, Keith Urban, Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5
All bets will be on the Steelers to win against the Green Bay Packers during this year’s Super Bowl, but all ears will be on Glee’s Lea Michele, Keith Urban, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera as they perform for the pre-game festivities. Michele will perform “America the Beautiful” while Aguilera will be singing, for the hundredth time at a sports’ game, the U.S. national anthem. Maroon 5 also plans to perform “Never Gonna Leave This Bed” during pre-game festivities. Keith Urban is also slated to perform before the game. The Black Eyed Peas will be bringing their electro disco party to half-field during the halftime show and will run through a gambit of pop-dance hits like “Boom Boom Pow,” “I Got a Feeling,” “My Humps,” “Imma Be” and “The Time (Dirty Bit).” Super Bowl XLV takes place at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX on Feb. 6 and will air on FOX at 6:30 p.m (ET).
Coca-Cola Teams Up with Maroon 5 for Songwriters’ Experience
One lucky person will catch a trip to London to witness a Maroon 5 songwriters’ session. Coca-Cola is opening the contest up to U.S. citizens between the ages of 13-19 and will allow the selected winner to be a part of the studio experience. Boy George Reuniting Culture Club for World Tour, Album
Time for some karma chameleon, folks. Boy George announced a world tour with ’80s hit band Culture Club and is shooting it for 2012. Next year, Culture Club turns 30. It’s also been ten years since the band reunited. But George spoke with BBC’s Breakfast about the big news and even promised a new album with former members Mikey Craig and Jon Moss. “We are getting back together…next year.” Right now, George is working on his own Here and Now tour and is promoting his latest solo record, Ordinary Alien. The Culture Club lead singer collaborated with DJ Mark Ronson on his most recent LP, Record Collection, on the brilliant song “Somebody to Love Me.” Ronson, a big fan of Culture Club and sole producer of the Duran Duran’s latest LP, may be at the helm of producing that record.
