“For Your Love”
(Motown; 1995)
from the album Conversation Peace
Conversation Peace was deploringly overlooked, despite inheriting the gorgeous midtempo ballad “For Your Love.” He takes his time entering the verse, opting to play the tranquil chorus instrumentally twice in a row. Think of the tune as a Babyface poem, as he sings “for your love, I will do anything.”
