The Cars rev up their engines on web exclusive live performance of 1979 hit
Performing for the first time on television in over twenty years, The Cars prove they still got it. With Ric Ocasek at the helm, the Boston-hailed band performed their 1979 Top 20 hit “Let’s Go” exclusively for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and didn’t compromise the original synths and Nu Wave origins during their thirty-year old update. Bravo!
The band’s new album, Move Like This, is in stores now.
