Ariana Grande Shows Off Spot-on Impersonations of Pop Divas

Ariana Grande’s turn at the Wheel of Musical Impressions has us all laughing and in shock

On last night’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, pop singing superstar Ariana Grande was joined by the late-night funnyman for a fun game of Wheel of Musical Impressions.

Fallon is a pro at this game, but it’s always unusual when an established singer falls for the mock bait.

When Grande spins the wheel via a virtual button, she lands on a trifecta of pop divas. Her take on Britney Spears is the most hilarious, as she sings “Mary Had a Little Lamb” with that “baby, baby” talk. She leaps into Christina Aguilera using big gospel runs and the trademark oversouling. Her last dig was with Celine Dion, using almost every nuance known to her. Fallon is so moved by Grande’s impersonation of Aguilera that he stands up from his desk and declares “We should stop the show there…I want that recording.”

The last minutes of the game, Fallon and Grande — as Dion and Sting — share in a duet on The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” You almost don’t want it to end.
