The Foo Fighters are bearing it all in a promotional clip for their U.S. tour

Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foos – riding high off of their No. 1 album Wasting Light and their recent victory at the 2011 MTV VMAs for Best Rock Video – decided to kick off their U.S. tour with a porno promo clip showing the boys in nothing butt but their pale birthday suits. Of course, they had to exaggerate the moment with a southern mother-trucker theme and a ’70’s gay porn pastiche. Merging the two ideas together makes it even more hilarious, even if it means that they’ve just embarrassed the hell out of themselves.

Please – and we mean please – do not watch this video at work. We promise you either the laughter will get the bosses’ attention or the flat asses from these rock stars will.

During their acceptance speech at the 2011 VMAs, Grohl told the young MTV crowd to “never lose faith in real rock ‘n roll music.” Not sure if the preachy motivation got across to the 30-and-younger, Jersey Shore fans. If it didn’t, they can get their rock ‘n roll fix on one of the gigs on the Foo Fighters’ North American tour.

So what do you think?
Funny? Unfunny? Err, embarrassing?
Let us know what you think?
