A week after #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay trended during the Super Bowl, pop superstar Janet Jackson took to Instagram on the International Day of Love to wish her diehard devout fans a happy Valentine’s Day. Inside the cute video post, the “No Sleeep” singer — embracing very little makeup and going for a natural look — uttered sincere gratitude for their dedication.
“You have no idea how much I love you,” Jackson said in the 20-second clip. “I want to thank you for the support and the love you are always showing me.”
Jackson even dropped the hashtag #JanetJacksonFanAppreciationDay, a return deposit of love to the viral #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay hashtag.
But that’s not it! Before the video wrapped up, Jackson tries to turn the video off and the lighting from her recording smartphone goes awry. “Oh my goodness, what am I doing?” she utters at the very end. It’s a cute reminder of the star’s sense of humor and silliness.
