Wham! Bam, no thank you mam: Wham! won’t be reuniting, according to George Michael’s spokesperson

Now that George Michael’s health is on the rebound after a scary bout of pneumonia late last year, rumors are quickly spreading around the Internet about the potential Wham! reunion acknowledging the group’s thirtieth anniversary. (Thanks Perez Hilton and Daily Mirror, it’s your fault.)

But George Michael shot down the rumors, according to his spokeswoman. What IS scheduled to take place, according to recent reports, is that Michael plans to release a new single, "White Light," which will coincide with the 30th anniversary of “Wham! Rap” entering the pop charts in June 1982.

For a brief moment, Wham! — led by Michael and Andrew Ridgeley — had become international superstars with hits like “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” “Careless Whisper” and “Everything She Wants,” before Michael departed to go solo in 1987.

An update on the story can be found at The Guardian.

So what do you think?
Anticipating a Wham! reunion? Or not?
Do you doubt Michael will ever unite with Ridgeley?
