Michael Jackson: Hollywood Tonight

Late king of pop keeps the glitz ablazed on “Hollywood” tribute

After 1991’s Dangerous, MJ was running on fumes in creating big best-selling pop singles, but he never wavered from his flashy spectacular performances and his adrenaline rush for the pop machine. You can smell traces of “Billie Jean” in Michael Jackson’s latest single, “Hollywood Tonight.”  That’s a clear sign that Michael – in the end – didn’t want to technically reinvent the wheel. He just wanted to keep it going. On behalf of the song’s concept video, it looks like a dance-friendly commercial for Ubisoft’s best-selling The Michael Jackson Experience game. A nice tribute indeed.
