Performing gospel on daytime can be tricky business, but for the Queen of Soul it’s elementary. During a Christmas special in 2009, she goes for the heaviest of gospel hymns with Thomas Dorsey’s “The Lord Will Make a Way” on Rachel Ray (also found on her holiday LP This Christmas Aretha). And she doesn’t compromise for nobody.
