Finally you can hear the music that made 2010 so special. At no cost to you.

We know it’s pretty late in the game in bringing up old news, but in our first issue of HIFI Magazine (released digitally on April 11), we decided the besy way to kick off our new publication was to relive the best albums and songs from 2010. In our special countdown, we decided to organize a super playlist of our favorite singles. Enjoy.

Excerpt from “45 Best Singles of 2010,” HIFI Magazine, Issue No. 1:
CERTAINLY MOST OF 2010 was bombarded with futuristic synthpop uptempos – made just for the club. It proved to be the excess of the Black Eyed Peas’ party hits from the year before. Aside from the year having very little input from rock bands, 2010 came with some nice surprises from some of country’s champions, rhyme-spittin’ emcees, heavyweight debuts from newcomers (Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe just to name a few) and some really catchy experimental dance music (and no, Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” doesn’t count). And now, without more ado, we salute 2010’s very best in singles-ville.
