Grammy-award winning Keys finally delivers baby boy
Alicia Keys has given birth to her first child, a baby boy called Egypt.
The platinum-selling R&B singer/songwriter and her husband Swizz Beatz welcomed the delivery of their first child as a married couple. Beatz already has three other children from previous relationships.
According to their spokesman, a press statement reads: “Swizz ‘Kaseem Dean’ Beatz, 32, and Alicia Keys, 29, joyfully welcomed their first child together, a son Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14 in New York City.
The couple married during a private, invitation-only event this summer on the French island of Corsica.
Shortly after Keys’ delivered, Beatz tweeted: “I’m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww! (sic)”
“There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to a express a FEELING like this!!!” Keys wrote.
“Thank U 4 your love, support and prayers!” the star added.
