Week’s End Digest morphs into new webisode vlog series on YouTube, episode 1 focuses on April/May 2011 issue
Week’s End Digest (see archives) started at the very beginning of HiFi Magazine in September 2010. Considered to be very time consuming, the round-up of headlines and new briefs proved to be a big headache with the web managers when deadline time approached. Now HiFi is launching a new webisode series on YouTube called THIS WEEK. The weekly vlog, narrated by HiFi editor J Matthew Cobb, will focus on industry news headlines, buzz topics and the best albums, singles, videos, etc. of the week. If you want to know what everyone’s talking about…or want to know what everyone should be talking about…THIS WEEK will get you up to speed.
This week’s episode is all about awareness for HiFi Magazine, including the April/May 2011 issue. “It’s a getting-to-know-all-about-you video,” says the magazine editor. “We hope to get the word out about our product and to further extend our readership using this new medium of communication. We are more than just a R&B and pop resource and we want our viewers to reflect the kind of versatility we exhibit.”
