Smells like an adult spirit: Deceased rock stars gets makeover courtesy of high-tech photo restoration
Their lives were cut short, but Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley and Kurt Cobain made a profound impact on the world of music. Being the generous tech geeks they are, the photo restoration and manipulation company Phojbe, along with Sachs Media Group, paid tribute to these superstars using breakthrough science. Had they lived today, the stars would have looked a little something like this:

Forgive the fact that all of the photos bear that Olan Mills-in-Kmart cheap look (and that some of the superstar update seem a bit creepy). It’s obvious that Kurt Cobain discovered a path to the fountain of youth. “The 46-year-old Kurt Cobain would look almost exactly like 27-year-old Kurt Cobain, except with a few extra wrinkles and a bad goatee and a Dax-Shepard-on-Parenthood haircut,” Stereogum posted earlier.
