As Summer 2017 draws to a close, we’ve collected the top sixteen karaoke songs of the summer — courtesy of Sing King Karaoke’s trendy YouTube karaoke channel.

The “Mercy” singer pulls off a winner with this rollicking dance-y pop rock gem.

The Biebz and French producer DJ Snake team up on this tropical R&B jam, a song that bears similarities to 2016’s “Lean On.”

13. Charlie Puth – Attention
(2.5M views, uploaded May 2017)

The “One Call Away” singer croons himself into our hearts and ears with this surprising funk-pop tune. Turn up the sex appeal.

12. Rihanna – Love on the Brain

This doo wop-meets-Alabama Shakes soul offering from the Anti album nets Rihanna yet another smash hit.

Yet another cover of the Disney classic. This time, the song gets a modified pop gloss and is revived by two of today’s brightest stars.

2. Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber – Despacito

This summer song was literally everywhere. Virtually impossible to shake. It also had us thinking the dance moves from “Macarena” was applicable.

(18M views, uploaded January 2017)

Ed Sheeran, you win! It’s sexy, seductive and offers a glossy pop take on dancehall. And it’s one of the most streamed songs in Spotify history. No wonder everyone wants to sing it. Although your eyes are blue and this would be classified as blue-eyed soul, you’ve charmed your way into green-eyed soul. The color green, as in American bucks, smothers this entire track.

How we did it? We’ve measured the metrics from the YouTube video views and the actual release dates of the original singles courtesy of (going back to July 2016). In closing, we only looked at Sing King Karaoke uploads done between the months of December 2016 and September 2017.
