In director’s cut of “Teenage Dream,” the ‘California Gurl’ just wants to have fun. Kinky, explorative, ambitious, no holds barred fun. She really has no shame about it.
The “California Gurl” with the magnetic flair for golden hits scores her second #1 for 2010 with the title cut from her new album. Besides the sweet mix of pop and disco-rock, the dreamy concept video – particularly the director’s cut – focuses in on Perry’s exaggerated alter ego: Rebel-erina. There’s a good dose of sexuality being tossed about in the concept video, especially in the scenes with her making out with her video partner – actor Josh Kloss (no Russell Brand here). It culminates with a rowdy, spirited bunch of outdoor party revelers, lots of booty shots and even a few lesbian-to-lesbian lip action. Hey, did you expect anything different from Katy Perry?
