Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum Put Their ‘Magic Mike’ Moves into Funny Impromptu Song
Kimmel’s 2013 Oscar show is all about the hilarity of Ray and Magic Mike unchained
Jamie Foxx is a man who’s worn many hats. Besides a Jimmy hat, he’s an Oscar-winning actor, a heck of a comedian, a radio host and he’s a gifted singer with a special knack for piano. With four R&B albums and an alcohol worship club track on his resume, he’s probably a step higher than most in Hollywood who’s tried to make a break at a singing career.
Foxx showed up on the set of Jimmy Kimmel‘s after-hours Oscar show on February 24 (25 in some places) with his ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ co-star Channing Tatum to plug their upcoming film White House Down. Things got funny very fast, with plenty references to Tatum’s stripping skills and Foxx’s infamous party habits. As Kimmel’s show approaches the final minutes of its air time, Foxx decided to pull out an impromptu slow jam dedicated to his lady magnet co-star. He drifts from the couch all the way to a baby grand to sing the lyrics of “(I Wanna) Channing All Over Your Tatum.” Tatum playfully acts as if he’s not comfortable with the innuendo-themed dirty song and tries to break it off, but even Kimmel wants in on the action. The funny host whips out his own set of verses to the baby-makin’ joint. And there it goes: Tatum can’t seem to bury the ‘Magic Mike’ euphoria that he’s created.
Dressed in black tux, Tatum later reprises his role by jumping on the piano with hard body thrusts and pistol-shooting gyrations. Of course, the crowd goes nuts. It’s total comedy. Foxx also proves he’s still can whip up a hearty jingle, as he revives the Jamie King character on ‘The Jamie Foxx Show’.
Now we await for the track to drop on iTunes.
In the meantime, watch this and relive the moment.
