Paying homage to this Phil Spector classic from the Righteous Brothers seemed an appropriate choice for America’s best-selling duo. The contemporary uplift was expected, but Hall & Oates magically pulled off every note without any sign of hesitation or discomfort. It is probably the best remake of the blue-eyed soul standard to date.
