Produced and written by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, “Stone Cold Love” is a bit of a departure from the typical folksy sound that dominates Oates’s solo discs. Fuzzy rock guitars, cocky vocals and a little bit of Karmin’s “Acapella” decorates this solo offering. It’s the perfect personality shakeup for the unusually quiet Oates.
