“Missed Opportunity”
(1988, #29 pop)
Writer: Daryl Hall, John Oates, Sara Allen
Producer: Daryl Hall, John Oates, Tom “T-Bone” Wolk
from the album Ooh Yeah!

Sounding like leftovers of “Adult Education,” this overlooked track from their Arista era exposed more of H&O’s evolving sound as they made greater leaps into far advanced keyboards (Prophet 5, Roland Jupiter 8) and realms of synthpop. Chris Porter’s album mix was satisfying to the ear, but the Unlimited Mix heard on the 12-inch mix disc is definitely the more superior one.
