The pastor at this church is calling on the US government to kill gays and lesbians, and believes God is okay with it. In a hour-long sermon titled The Curse of Homosexuality, Knapp attacks Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage with some very powerful words.
“Terrorists are dangerous, the economy is a real and present danger,” Knapp said in the Sunday sermon. Using Leviticus 20 for his fire-and-brimstone sermon, Knapp said that “they should be put to death.”
“Oh, so you’re saying we should go out and start killing them, no?’ — I’m saying the government should. They won’t, but they should. You say, ‘Oh, I can’t believe you, you’re horrible,” he continued. ‘You’re a backwards neanderthal of a person.’ Is that what you’re calling scripture? Is God a neanderthal, backwards in his morality? Is it His word or not? If it’s His word, he commanded it. It’s His idea, not mine. And I’m not ashamed of it.'”
Wow, the gay hate is so bad there that even Dorothy will be thinking she’s not in Kansas anymore.
