ROCK THE VOTE: Your Favourite Albums & Singles of 2011

Posted December 11, 2011 by J Matthew Cobb in Features

Your call…your vote…for your favourite albums and singles of 2011

Every year we reflect on the very best albums and singles. And although no “Best-of” list is infinite, it’s always good to know what the public thinks. So in order to gauge the favorites from our readers, we’ve decided to compile a list of best-selling singles and albums (and some rarities) and want to hear from you. Vote for your favourite picks. There’s a-plenty choices to choose, including albums from Adele, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Drake, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Coldplay. The choices of singles are also too many to list here, but you best believe popular favorites are there, from LMFAO‘s “Party Rock Anthem” to Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” to Foster The People‘s “Pumped Up Kicks.”

(And if you paid close attention to our post: We decided to spell “favorite” using British English instead of American English, since the U.S. was invaded by Adele in 2011.)

Here’s the good news on the voting process:

  • You (and your friends) can vote for your favorite choices every hour.
  • The voting is absolutely free and is accessible to the entire public.
  • You can cast your vote for as many choices as you like – each and every time. Multiple votes are encouraged.
  • You can monitor what the rest of the public likes by checking out the current results.
  • You have until January 21, 2012 (12:00 pm; EST) to cast your votes.

We will annouce the final results at and on our official HiFi Facebook page.

So continue to check back here and monitor the  left side of all HiFi pages for exclusive poll results.

May the best albums and radio singles win!
