LMFAO: Sexy And I Know It
LMFAO’s tounge-in-cheeky flashback to Right Said Fred sexy tales
Remember the Right Said Fred 1991 hit that we thought would never go away? Well, LMFAO has decided to resuscitate that brand on their “Party Rock Anthem” follow-up. While it’s evident that there’s nothing on the group’s second album that remotely matches the catchy sting and fierceness of “Party Rock,” the dance-pop duo believes that wacky weirdness, decorated in this tardy summer jam, will save the day. With porn king Ron Jeremy, That 70’s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama, “Party Rock” stars and several beach bods in place, the companion music video puts the campiness on blast. They “wiggle, wiggle, wiggle” their deflated wieners in their Speedos to one another in some kind of eerie college fratboy contest that either looks like Gay Pride high on Rockstar Games energy drinks or a bad Weird Al Yankovic team-up with Jerry Springer. Towards the end of the party, the Soul Train line of dancers help brings some calm to the fantasy, pulling off moves that might make it pass the first round of America’s Got Talent, but goofy RedFoo, for the most part, ends up looking like he’s lacking just that.
