Josh Groban’s operatic voice was just perfect for Jimmy Kimmel‘s latest comedic experiment. On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, the funny talk show got popera star Josh Groban to serenade audiences with a funny “greatest hits” collection of Kanye West’s 140-character tweets. With Groban nestled at a baby grand piano, he puts the poignant lyrics of West’s Twitter posts to song, such as “fur pillows are actually hard to actually sleep on” and “classical music is tight yo” and “black is the new black.” The funniest: “Man…whatever happened to my antique fish tank.”
Amazingly, Groban has a sense of humor and some impressive Hollywood-inspired acting abilities. After this funny segment aired, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see Groban next in line to host SNL.
