The video has some entertainment value to it, although very silly and embarassingCons:
Although it tries to repeat the formula of "Gangnam Style," it proves to be not as catchyGangnam Style redux? Not exactly
Gangnam Style redux? Not exactly
It took almost a whole year to follow-up “Gangnam Style,” but PSY is on course to doing a repeat performance. Thanks to the power of the music video (and yes, video did kill the radio star), the Korean K-pop rapper is once again showing off a new set of silly line dance moves that’s soon to go viral. He is also portraying a rebel without a cause, goofing off at the idea of chivalry while mocking the world of raunchy sex. The song itself isn’t as catchy as its predecessor, besides the fact that the chorus sounds like he’s trying to blurt out some profanity: “I’m a mother-father gentleman” sounds like “I’m a motha-f***in’ gentleman.” And it’s probably that little trick that might hype up the college crowd. Other than that, “Gentleman M/V” seems laughable when compared with “Gangnam Style.” And that says a lot.
